On November 20, the head office of CTM hosted a delegation of Chinese students from the Shanghai Customs College. Key software solutions in the field of customs clearance and railway logistics were presented for the guests of St. Petersburg developers. An important part of the meeting was an informal round table. Participants discussed the situation in the field of IT products for foreign economic activity and transport logistics in China and the nuances of the PRC education system in the public service, in particular, the customs administration.
At the moment software solutions in the field of foreign economic activity and railway logistics developed by CTM are used by more than 40 universities and training centers in Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Students use the software of the St. Petersburg company-developer not only in the classroom but also in the process of preparing term papers and dissertations.
The Shanghai Customs College is the only university in China that specializes in training personnel for customs. Its history began in 1953, and now more than two thousand people study at six faculties here. The Faculty of Customs Administration is leaded by a former deputy head of the customs service of China. During the semester, students from China were trained in exchange in the North-West branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA).
CTM and the RANEPA have long-standing partnerships: the academy has been using the company's software in teaching students for more than five years.
The relevance and benefits of such meetings were noted both by the students themselves and by representatives of CTM and the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. There is an interest of all three parties in the continuation of such meetings and the development of interaction in the future.
